Precautions During Customs Clearance For Imported Wholesale EVSE
Packing
- Goods cannot be mixed loaded, and the packing list in the customs clearance data should provide data consistent with the actual packing details.
- Make in XXX is displayed on the outer box (XXX must be the actual country of production of the goods).
- The outer package of EV charger must be within the standard size, otherwise it will be charged by the logistics company.
- Different warehouses have different height restrictions on pallets. For example, the tray height of FBA is limited to 1.8m, and that of SMT is limited to 2m.
Product Label
- The product label display content should include the following contents: reflect all the information on the nameplate of the CE test report, such as: warning words, model (certified model on the certificate), rated current, rated voltage, IP level, working temperature, meeting standards, manufacturer information.
- If the customer logo is displayed on the outer box, inner box and manual of the product, the customer needs to make a special brand filing, and the customs clearance declaration materials should be declared according to the brand.
- Don’t show irrelevant logos or artistic fonts on the outer packaging.
Customs Clearance Information
- The declared product name of EV charging equipment must be the same as the actual product name.
- The packing list and invoice for customs clearance must be included in the customs clearance data, and the declared product name and quantity of the customs clearance data (customs clearance packing list and invoice) must be consistent with the bill of lading, and the title of the customs clearance data must be consistent with the bill of lading (consistent with the guarantee sheet).
- For customs clearance information, please note that the model on the relevant certificate is used for the declared model.
- Some countries have different HS codes for charging stations, which need to be confirmed in advance to avoid unnecessary trouble.
